Availability calendar
Same-day and next-day stays cannot be booked online, but we may still be able to help.
These dates require host review before confirmation. Please send a booking inquiry instead of Book Now. If you are extending or joining an existing reservation, include the lead guest's name or booking reference in the message field.
Jump to availability calendarShared bedding and infants
Children age 2–5 normally use bedding at the full guest rate. Only when the room's standard occupancy is full will the required overflow be assigned automatically to the reduced shared-bedding rate; choosing fewer beds does not change this. Infants age 0–1 share existing bedding free. Meals and per-person add-ons still count every child.
Guest composition (optional)
Optional. Leave blank if you are not sure.
Please choose your bed arrangement when booking.
Selected by default for multi-night stays. Save ¥2,000 per night after the first night, or ¥3,000 when booking both rooms. You can untick this if you prefer daily sheet changes.
Review the pet stay rules
Pet stay rules
Bringing a pet means agreeing to all of the following rules for the safety and comfort of your pet, other guests, neighbors, and the property.
Inside the guest room, except while entering or leaving, your pet must remain in a secure pet pen or cage. Never allow a pet onto beds, sofas, or other furniture.
Pet suitability and care
- A maximum of two pets may accompany each booking.
- A required pet-stay fee covers up to two pets. Pet pen rental is optional and charged separately.
- Large dogs must be well behaved. You must consult us in advance and clearly provide the dog's breed, approximate size, temperament and relevant behavior.
- Pets must be toilet-trained and have no biting, destructive, or escape habits.
- Pets should be accustomed to travel and spending time in unfamiliar places.
- Pets must be clean, receive regular flea and tick treatment, and allow their paws to be wiped.
Inside the Garden Room
- Except while entering or leaving, pets must remain in a secure pet pen or cage while inside the guest room.
- Pets must never be allowed onto beds, sofas, or other furniture.
- A Jasper House pet pen is available, but it is made from a tent-like fabric that some pets may chew, scratch, or tear. We recommend bringing the familiar pen or cage your pet normally uses.
Baths, showers, jacuzzi, and water
- Pets are not permitted in baths, shower areas, or the jacuzzi.
- Do not wash pets anywhere on the premises or allow them to play in water.
Inside the building and outdoor areas
- While inside the building but outside the guest room, including the entrance lobby, pets must be inside a pet carrier or held securely; please do not let them walk through indoor common areas. After check-in, you may instead take your pet directly into the Garden Room through its patio entrance.
- Outside the building, including in the garden, pets must be kept on a leash or inside a secure, escape-proof carrier.
- For safety, keep pets within the areas identified as pet-accessible.
Cleanliness and damage
- Entry or accommodation may be refused if a pet is excessively dirty or shedding heavily.
- Restoration or cleaning costs may be charged if substantial pet hair is found on beds or sofas, marking is found indoors, or the room, furnishings, walls, or floors are soiled or damaged.
- Repair or replacement costs may also be charged if the Jasper House pet pen is significantly soiled, chewed, torn, or otherwise damaged.
Safety, responsibility, and veterinary care
- Jasper House cannot accept responsibility if a pet escapes. The surrounding mountain area is home to wild boar and venomous snakes, and a search may be extremely difficult.
- Jasper House cannot accept responsibility for pet accidents or injuries. Please follow all pet-access restrictions, and we recommend appropriate pet medical and personal-liability insurance.
- The nearest veterinary clinic is approximately 20 minutes away by car and is closed on Sundays. If you have concerns about your pet's health, confirm emergency availability before your stay.

House rules
Please review these rules before your stay. They help protect the house, the surrounding environment, and everyone staying with us.
A few essentials
These short reminders cover the points most likely to affect your stay. The grouped details below form part of the complete house rules.
- Follow the arrival and departure times confirmed for your booking, and host only registered or approved guests. If you would like to change your check-in or check-out time, please contact us before arrival.
- Use cooking, flame, BBQ, firepit, and fireworks only in the permitted ways and places.
- Keep inappropriate substances and items out of the jacuzzi, toilets, and drains.
- Tell us promptly about spills, blockages, damage, injuries, wildlife hazards, or equipment problems so we can help.
Your stay and registered guests Please observe your confirmed times and make sure everyone in your party understands the rules.
- Check-in is 15:00–22:00 unless otherwise agreed. Check-out is by 10:30; call the front desk when leaving, and contact us before arrival if you need to change either time.
- Only registered guests may stay overnight. Day visitors, parties, events, commercial activity, or other non-standard use require prior approval. The booking representative must ensure all guests, children, and approved visitors follow these rules.
- Pets must be declared when booking, are allowed only with the first-floor Garden Room, and must follow the separate pet stay rules. Pets are not permitted upstairs.
Smoking, cooking, BBQ, firepit, and fireworks Please use only suitable equipment and designated areas whenever smoke, heat, or flame is involved.
- Smoking and vaping are not permitted indoors. Smoke outdoors with consideration for your surroundings.
- Use installed kitchen equipment appropriately. Yakiniku, tabletop BBQ, deep-frying, and other cooking that produces substantial smoke, grease, or strong odors are not permitted indoors. Guest-supplied cassette stoves, portable burners, and similar appliances require prior approval and may be used only outdoors.
- Use booked or approved BBQ and firepit equipment only in its designated area under responsible adult supervision. Do not move it or leave flame or hot equipment unattended. After using the BBQ, turn off the burner controls and call the front desk; leave cleaning and packing to staff.
- Fireworks require prior approval and may be used only on the tennis court. Handheld and ground fireworks are generally acceptable; consult us first about rockets, aerial fireworks, or large explosive fireworks. Use the provided water bucket, ensure responsible adult supervision, then fully extinguish and collect everything. Fireworks and outdoor flames may be refused during strong wind, dry conditions, or other unsafe weather.
- After evening outdoor use, bring all food and garbage indoors to avoid attracting wildlife.
Jacuzzi, bath, ventilation, drains, and septic system These facilities are easily damaged by unsuitable substances, objects, and unsafe use.
- Keep soap, bath products, chemicals, and other foreign substances out of the jacuzzi. Keep glass, sharp objects, and scratching metal tools, items, or toys out of the jacuzzi and bath. Hair dye may not be used or disposed of anywhere on the property.
- No diving, jumping, running, or rough play in or around the jacuzzi. Supervise children actively, and do not use it when heavily intoxicated or unwell. Staff may close it for weather, maintenance, or safety.
- When finished for the day or pausing for an extended period, call the front desk so staff can clean and cover the jacuzzi. Do not move or replace the cover yourself.
- After bathing or showering, leave the bathroom exhaust fan running. Leave the washroom fan on when practical, but switch it off if the noise is disturbing you.
- To protect the septic system, flush only toilet paper. Do not put food, cooking oil, chemicals, hair dye, or objects into toilets, sinks, or drains.
Rooms, furnishings, footwear, and cleanliness Please treat the rooms and furnishings as you would a carefully maintained home.
- Wear outdoor shoes only outside and keep indoor slippers inside.
- Treat furnishings carefully: do not jump on beds, sofas, or other furniture, or move beds, heavy furniture, appliances, or installed equipment without permission.
- Keep wet clothing and towels off beds, sofas, and wooden furniture. Do not use glitter, confetti, adhesive decorations, or strongly staining products without approval.
- Sort garbage using the provided bins and instructions; ask staff if you are unsure.
Damage, exceptional cleaning, and prompt reporting Normal use is expected; prompt notice helps us assist you and prevent avoidable damage from becoming worse.
- Guests may be asked to reimburse reasonable, documented costs directly caused by intentional or negligent damage or cleaning substantially beyond normal accommodation use, including specialist cleaning, repair, replacement, disposal, or emergency service. We will explain any charge and provide supporting documentation where reasonably available; normal wear and ordinary cleaning are excluded.
- Report spills, blockages, breakage, injuries, wildlife hazards, or equipment problems promptly so we can help and limit damage. Do not repair or dismantle equipment unless staff instructs you.
